Disney Vacation Club Tips

"What’s your home resort and where have you used your points?"

We have two Disney Vacation Club Home Resorts: Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort and Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa. In addition to our Home Resorts, we have enjoyed DVC stays at Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas, Disney's Beach Club Villas, Disney's BoardWalk Villas, Disney's Hilton Head Island Resort, Disney's Old Key West Resort, Disney's Polynesian Villas & Bungalows, Disney's Vero Beach Resort, and The Villas at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa. We have so many cherished memories from all our DVC vacations that it's hard to name our favorite. They're all our favorites for different reasons. I have to share, though, that what we love about Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa — our first DVC Home Resort — is that we stayed there for our first family vacation years before when our son was 9 months old and it was known at the time as The Disney Institute. So I personally think it's cool to say I attended The Disney Institute and now proudly hold Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa as a Home Resort. Our DVC travel wish list includes each of the Disney Vacation Club Resorts we haven't yet experienced, and we're especially looking forward to Disney’s Riviera Resort and the Disney Skyliner! What we love about our DVC vacations is that each stay — whether a quick two-day get-away or an extended 10-day vacation — makes for a new and exciting experience that affords an opportunity for new adventures.
