Aulani, Our Family's Go-to Vacation

When my family joined Disney Vacation Club, we were brimming with excitement at the possibility of staying at our favorite Disney Resort Hotels time and time again. Little did we know, that was just the tip of the iceberg. Joining Disney Vacation Club has provided us with experiences that may have never crossed our minds, from the charming coastal accommodations at Disney's Hilton Head Island Resort to the peaceful paradise of Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa.

 

Aulani has become our family's go-to vacation, a place where each one of us is our happiest self. We're heading into our fourth year in a row visiting Aulani and it's hard for us to remember what vacationing was like before we found this magical getaway through Disney Vacation Club! We spend months planning and looking forward to the next time we can grab our raft and float down the lazy river. We daydream of the fresh Poke Bowls at Ulu Cafe, the calm beaches of Ko Olina, and the memories we'll make as we embark on our next excursion to Hawaii!

 

The beauty of Aulani is that there is something for everyone! No matter your age or your interests, you'll find the perfect way to soak up the magic of this tropical wonderland! My littlest traveler celebrated his last birthday at Aulani, kicking off the day with a Character Breakfast at Makahiki* and spending hours and hours hopping from the pools to the beach to the lazy river! My daughter, a bit older and full of curiosity, learned how to snorkel* in the private lagoon of Rainbow Reef and enjoyed taking in the culture of the island through the KA WA'A Luau and tasting the local cuisine. My husband and I love spending time making memories with our little ones, but also look forward to the fine dining experience at 'AMA'AMA and a rejuvenating break at Laniwai - A Disney Spa.

 

The Cast Members at Aulani are second to none. We felt welcomed from the minute we set foot on the property and the above-and-beyond care extends through all areas of the resort. Knowing that their home is rich in culture, the Cast Members we've met have always been open to sharing details about their land, language, and traditions with our 'Ohana. We are so grateful for their kindness, as we not only get to enjoy their island, but we return home each time with more and more knowledge about the history and beauty of this place we love to visit.

 

Joining Disney Vacation Club has given us the opportunity to find the perfect escape for our family. Our membership has simplified the planning process, allowing us to book our favorite room with the touch of a button and leave our worries behind! Aulani inspires a sense of connection, an adventurous spirit, and gratitude. Our 'mahalo' goes out to Disney Vacation Club for introducing us to a destination that now holds such a special place in our hearts. We can't wait to see what adventure our membership has in store for us next!
