Hello Charles!
I'm thrilled to hear about your Fab 5's upcoming visit! You're sure to have a magical time making memories with your crew alongside Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy, and Pluto. As long as your group is already linked via the
Family & Friends list, you'll be able to make plans together, like purchasing Lightning Lane Passes and even view each other's photos with the purchase of Memory Maker. Let's talk through the details.
If you haven't already done so, connect with each guest in your travel party by scanning their linking code or by
sending them an invitation to connect. Next, review your sharing permissions to only view plans you share (like resort reservations or dining plans), or view all plans, which is the default. My friend and fellow panelist, Melissa, and I have all our plans viewable to each other, and I can see her tickets, dining reservations, and Lightning Lane plans for the week in my My Disney Experience app, even though I'm sitting at home, just a bit jealous of all her magical adventures.
When I visit with my family, my tickets and my children's tickets are all viewable on my phone since I still manage their accounts. My husband has his own My Disney Experience account, but I've connected him to the kids' profiles so he has access to their tickets and can make plans for them without me. If you'll be visiting with a minor (or an adult you've made plans with who doesn't have their own account), make sure that the person who wants to handle the plans for your group also has access to their profiles. You can do this via the
"Connect Managed Profiles" button for each profile.
If everyone is already properly linked, your planner pal can include them when purchasing and scheduling
Lightning Lane Passes. If you're staying off-site, your planning window likely opened this morning at 7 am EST, based on your arrival date of June 1. Have them
follow the steps I've detailed here to make plans for the group. Also, as I recently mentioned to another guest, you don't need to detail who is joining dining reservations in most cases, but you can
modify your party details so dining plans show up on everyone's accounts.
Finally, when it comes to enjoying the parks, you can certainly allow one lead guest to scan everyone's tickets for entry each day. I recommend creating a
Disney MagicMobile Pass for each guest, which can be saved to your phone's wallet and quickly swiped through to scan at entry points. I prefer having my own ticket handy, so I'd encourage each guest to save their own pass to their device in case some want to split up and experience different things. If you are all iPhone users, you can
share passes with each guest via iMessage for added convenience.I hope this answers all your questions, Charles, but if you need further clarification, please come right back and let us know. You can also
reach out to a Cast Member by phone or the live chat feature on the app or website for real-time assistance.
Magic and memories
