Where do I add a person to my friends and family?

Hiya, Kellie! Welcome to planDisney where we're all family and friends! It looks like you're on your Walt Disney World Resort adventure now, so let's talk about expanding your network.

Friends and family are the spice of life, so I understand the desire to link them up for your trip. I just returned from Disney with my sisters-in-law, and we shared plans in the My Disney Experience mobile app. Booking activities like dining and Lightning Lane passes was a breeze!

If you're together, the easiest way to add a guest to your Family & Friends List is to open your mobile app and scroll to the Account section. You'll tap Profile and toggle at the top to view your Family & Friends List. You'll see a list of guests you're currently planning with; scroll to the bottom and tap the blue plus sign by "Add a Guest" to begin the process.

The next screen will offer choices for adding the guest, so select "Scan their linking code" if you're together. The guest will go to their Profile section and scroll to the bottom to "Show My Linking Code." You'll use your phone to scan their code, and voila! You'll be linked.

If you're not together, tap Add a Guest and enter the guest's name, age, and email address when prompted. This will send an invitation to the guest, and when they accept via the email link, you'll be sharing plans in no time.

You can also call the My Disney Experience line for help or stop by any Guest Relations location at the theme parks. I always look for the blue umbrellas inside the parks; the Guest Experience Team is like a gaggle of fairy godparents who can work magic!

Kellie, I hope I've helped you unite your party. You can't have too many friends, and you've certainly got a friend in me. Please stop by planDisney anytime!

    Magic awaits,
    Elaine
