Welcome to planDisney, Aubrey! Locking in those park reservations are a key step when planning your visit to the Disneyland Resort. I am happy to help you ensure you and your group are ready to go when it comes time to enter the park gates.

Let’s start with confirming your reservations. The easiest way to review everything is by logging into your account on the Disneyland website or opening the Disneyland app. In the app, tap the menu icon in the bottom right corner and select “Future Plans.” On the website, look for the “Theme Park Reservations” section. Once there, you should see each of your selected dates listed along with all the tickets linked to your account. Under each date, it will display the number of Guests and, in many cases, the names associated with those tickets. This is the best place to confirm that everyone in your party has both a valid ticket and a reservation for the same day.

If you only see your name or fewer Guests than expected, it may mean that not all tickets were linked or that reservations weren’t completed for each ticket. In that case, I recommend double-checking that all tickets are connected in your account first. If everything appears linked but reservations are still missing, reaching out to the Disneyland Ticket Help line with your confirmation details handy is a great next step. A Cast Member can take a closer look and help get everything sorted.

When it comes to names on the tickets, there’s some good news. For standard theme park tickets, the name you see during the reservation process isn’t what officially assigns the ticket to a Guest. A ticket becomes “locked in” to a specific person the first time it’s scanned at the entrance of Disneyland Park or Disney California Adventure Park. At that moment, a photo is taken and linked to that ticket, and that’s what connects it to that Guest for the rest of your visit. So even if only your name appeared during booking, it won’t prevent the rest of your group from using their tickets.

If you’d still feel more comfortable having names updated ahead of time, you can absolutely ask a Cast Member for assistance. They’ll be happy to walk you through any available options.

Aubrey, you’re very close to having everything perfectly in place for a smooth park entry and a fun-filled day. If any other questions come up, we’d love to see you again at planDisney.

Wishing you an easy arrival and a day that starts seamlessly from the moment you scan in!
