Welcome to planDisney, Elizabeth! Visiting the Disneyland Resort with a little one is such a special experience, and I’d be happy to help you prepare for your upcoming adventure.
At the Disneyland Resort, children under the age of 3 do not require a
theme park ticket. However, once a child turns 3 years old, they will need both a valid theme park ticket and a park reservation to enter Disneyland Park or Disney California Adventure Park. Since your youngest will already be 3 at the time of your visit, you will need to purchase a child ticket for them (which is valid for Guests ages 3-9).
Elizabeth, I also want to make sure you know about a terrific seasonal offer that may help your family save on tickets during your trip. Be sure to take a look at the
Kids’ Summer Ticket Offer currently available for visits to the Disneyland Resort. At the time I’m writing this, the promotion includes specially priced 1-day, 2-day, and 3-day tickets, with Park Hopper upgrades available as well. Offers can change, so it’s always a good idea to check the details as your travel dates approach.
And since you’ll be visiting with a preschool-aged Mouseketeer, I have one more recommendation to sprinkle a little extra fun into your day! Over at the Fantasyland Theatre, “
Bluey’s Best Day Ever!” has quickly become a favorite for many families. This interactive experience invites little ones to dance, play games like Keepy Uppy, and join Bluey and Bingo for a playful celebration inspired by the beloved series. It’s a wonderful spot to let kids move around, laugh, and enjoy a break from attraction queues while still soaking in the Disney magic.
Elizabeth, if any other questions come up while planning your visit, please stop by planDisney again. We’re always delighted to help you prepare for your Disneyland adventure.
I hope your visit is filled with happy family memories, magical moments, and plenty of smiles from your little one!
David
