About Me

Hey there! My name is David but my friends (like you!) call me "Q." Disney has been part of my life since the very beginning. My earliest memory is being on Main Street U.S.A., dancing to electrosynthomagnetic musical sounds of the Main Street Electrical Parade. That passion for Disney expanded as my wife and I visited the parks annually and then monthly. Thankfully, Disneyland is within a day's drive, so our trips have become a key factor in each major milestone (and many minor ones as well!) If you were to ask me what my perfect afternoon would be, it would a ride on the Disneyland Railroad, in the late afternoon, enjoying the sights and sounds of the park.

About My Family

My wife and I have been married for over 20 years and Disney has played a factor in every one. During the first few years of our marriage, we visited annually, and have made so many memories in the park together, including visiting Walt's apartment above Main Street. It only took a few visits for our love of the Disney parks to grow enough that we felt an annual pass (now the Magic Key!) was a necessity. After our daughters were born, those memories took on a new dimension. We were able to experience the parks through their eyes, seeing the magic as they fell in love with attractions such as the Incredicoaster and Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. It has been a pleasure, in recent years. to add Walt Disney World and Disneyland Paris to our growing list of family Disney memories, with many more to come!

About My Disney Experience

Disney has formed an indelible impression on me. When the noise of the world seems overwhelming, I just need to step inside the gates of Disneyland and hear that familiar train whistle to feel immediately at peace. However, once inside the gates, my curiosity comes alive as I strive to explore every aspect of both Disneyland and Disney California Adventure (DCA). Whether it's finding the most peaceful area of the park (the hidden alcove in Toontown) to which land is the best to start your Disney Day (Tomorrowland!), I'll immerse myself in all the wonderful details of Walt's original park. As I became an amateur photographer/videographer, I began to see the Disney parks with a new eye. Each park is built with an eye towards wonderful views and vistas that are waiting to be discovered. A personal favorite of mine is to stand at the edge of Paradise Pier in DCA and watch the sun set behind the Pixar Pal-A-Round. As the parks continue to change over time, I am excited to see what new perspectives are just over the horizon.
