Boo to you, Martha, and welcome to planDisney, where we always have tricks and treats, so feel free to materialize anytime you wish to ask us your Disney vacation planning questions. We're not-so-scary here. I promise!
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is one of my favorite events of the year, and like you, I've already secured my ticket to one of this year's parties. I simply cannot resist trick-or-treating in my Halloween costume. Mickey's Boo-to-You Halloween Parade is one of my favorite parades in all of Walt Disney World, and Disney's Not-So-Spooky Spectacular fireworks show is not to be missed. But before the fun starts, you must take care of the little business of getting your wrist band, treat bag and event park map.
The easiest time to do this is when you enter the park for the party. Follow the signs for party admission, and once you've tapped in, there will be plenty of friendly Cast Members in their party costumes ready to place your wrist band and direct you to the party entrance to pick up your other items. I always take advantage of the early entry, too. Did you know that even though the party starts at 7 PM, your party ticket will allow you to enter Magic Kingdom starting at 4 PM? That's three extra hours of fun. I like to use this time to secure a
Locker Rental so I don't have to carry all that candy and party exclusive merchandise around all night. I also use
Mobile Order for a Quick-Service dinner, do some early shopping if I can, ride a few rides and soak up the vibes.
If you have a day ticket to Magic Kingdom and you're already in the park prior to 4 PM, there will be places inside the park to pick up your wrist band. Locations can change from time-to-time, so it's best to ask a Cast Member to direct you.
Martha, I hope this has been helpful to you. Have a great trip, and hurry back if you have any other questions for us. There's always room for one more.
Let your dreams guide you!
