Hi Daniela,
Welcome back to planDisney! Planning your Walt Disney World park days in advance is such a smart strategy - I do this for every visit. It’s a great way to make sure that your plans align with your trip goals. I know you're going to have the best visit ever because you're going to
Be Prepared (cue Scar from The Lion King). Based on what you’ve said, it sounds to me like the Genie may have left a few details out when you rubbed his lamp. I’m hoping I can shed some light on what to do next.
While
Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party dates have been announced and can be found online, the
Hours & Events Calendar for Magic Kingdom and Hollywood Studios seems to only be live through August 6 online and through August 16 in the
My Disney Experience mobile app. Since this is the official calendar for the parks, I would wait about 2 weeks or so before making any solid plans and check again. At that point the calendar should extend a bit further and you may be able to see your specific dates. Remember that things can still change. Disney frequently changes the park hours as dates get closer when they have a better sense of the crowds they anticipate. My best tip for planning is to be sure to double check the calendar a few weeks before your visit as well.
If it turns out that the Genie was right, it might be due to private events happening at Magic Kingdom and Hollywood Studios on those dates. If you have
Park Hopper tickets, you can plan to pivot and visit EPCOT when they close. If you don’t have Park Hopper tickets and/or would like to experience the nighttime entertainment at these parks such as
Happily Ever After and
Fantasmic, you may want to revisit your plans and alter them. I’d wait until a few weeks from now when I can see the official calendar to make this decision.
Daniela, I hope this information is helpful! If you need any additional help with planning please come back and see us again here at planDisney. We’re thrilled that you stopped by. TTFN… ta-ta for now!
