Hi! I know ADR is 6am 60 days out, if FL is 1 hr ahead of me, do I need to log in at 5am my time to book? Thank you for all you do!!

    Welcome back to planDisney, Kristina!

It looks like your vacation plans are shaping up quite nicely, and I'm more than happy to help you put the cherry on top with some advance dining reservations. As a Disney Resorts Collection hotel guest, you can begin making reservations 60 days ahead of your check-in date for your length of stay (up to 10 days). There are so many fabulous restaurants to choose from, so be sure to prepare your list of must-eats before the clock ticks down.

Here's the scoop: new reservations become available about 6 am Eastern Time daily, which often requires some calculation (and some coffee) if you're visiting from another time zone. I see that you're based in Oklahoma in Central Daylight Time, which means a 5 am start time when your window opens on July 8. Keep in mind that you aren't required to book this early, but if you have your heart set on some of the most popular dining experiences like Cinderella's Royal Table, I'd recommend setting that alarm. Remember, the early bird gets the worm, I mean Mickey waffle.

I usually secure my meals right when my booking window opens, but I've been known to make changes the day of my plans. Sometimes we're simply too full from lunch or just want to linger in a favorite land without rushing to a meal. This means I've likely gifted another guest my modification or cancellation, and I've also taken advantage of other guests' changed plans, too. Just be sure to review the cancellation policy for each of your reservations. Most have a generous window of up to 2 hours before the meal, but modification and cancellation policies can vary.

If you aren't able to reserve everything on your wish list when your window opens, don't fret! Keep checking as your vacation approaches and don't be afraid to check on the day of your visit. You can also look for walk-up availability near you using the My Disney Experience app

Kristina, I hope this helped. If you need any recommendations for where to eat or what to order, please pull a chair right back up to the planDisney table. We're always happy to share a recipe for success.

    Magic and memories,
    Amy
