Hi, my husband is active military. I’m wanting to take my daughter to WDW. We live in Florida and we’re looking at purchasing the pixie dust pass. Am I able to get a military discount on this pass? If so how much of a discount is it& where do I get it?

Welcome to planDisney, Jacquie, and a great big Mickey salute to your family for their service. You have a Walt Disney World Resort adventure coming up, so let's look at ways to help you and your daughter experience some well-deserved Disney magic.

My husband and I love being Disney Pixie Dust Passholders! This annual pass is exclusively available to Florida residents, so if you can provide valid proof of residency, this is probably your best value. If you factor in the food and merchandise passholder discounts, the passes pay for themselves in no time. Unfortunately, there's no additional discount on annual passes for military members, but I have a tip.

Active military members and their spouses can purchase specially priced Disney Military Salute Tickets and upgrade them to annual passes once they arrive. The choice typically depends on how often you think you'll visit the theme parks, but I'm so glad I became a passholder. The perks and benefits are fabulous! I can't wait to enjoy the V.I.Passholder Lounge at EPCOT this week. Maybe I'll see you there!

Jacquie, I hope I've given you some admission options for this visit with your princess. My pal Frances knows all the military deals, so check out her tips and reach out to her directly anytime. Have a wonderful vacation!

    Magic awaits,
    Elaine
