Aloha Karen, and welcome to planDisney! You have breakfast plans at one of my favorite restaurants. There is rarely a visit to Walt Disney World Resort when I don’t make my way over to ‘Ohana!
Complimentary
bus transportation between Disney resort hotels and the theme parks begins 45 minutes prior to park opening. Be sure to check Magic Kingdom
park hours for the date of your reservation. It looks like you’ll be arriving in early September. Early Entry is currently scheduled to begin at 8:30 a.m. that week, so you can expect buses to begin operating around 7:45 a.m. Just be sure to keep an eye on the schedule in case anything changes.
Since that will only give you about 45 minutes for transportation and you still need to factor in time to take the monorail from Magic Kingdom, an alternate option is
Minnie Van™ Service. These vehicles will pick you up right at your resort hotel and drop you off at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. Minnie Vans are driven by Disney Cast Members and can accommodate up to six passengers in one vehicle. Car seats are also available if you need them. This service generally begins running around 6:30 a.m., so that would give you the option to leave your resort hotel earlier. If you’d like to arrange for a Minnie Van to pick you up, that can be set up in the Lyft app. Just be sure to allow time for them to arrive. In my experience, it can take more than 20 minutes for a vehicle during high-demand hours.
I hope this information is helpful, Karen. Please come back and see us at planDisney as you continue to put the finishing touches on your vacation plans. We love helping plan magical Disney vacations!
Sending you the spirit of aloha,
Casey
