Are family/guests allowed to come to our room as visitors for the day? I am seeing conflicting information on parking and use of pools etc?

Hi there, Mandy, and welcome to planDisney! We're so glad you found us so we can help you out with your question. Let's get right into it.

I have some good news for you. Guests are allowed to visit your room and enjoy some of the amenities of your Disney Resort hotel, like shopping and dining. Other amenities, such as pools, are only available to Guests staying at that resort on a current hotel reservation. Guests with a hotel, experience or dining reservation get complimentary parking at the resort for the duration of their hotel reservation or for up to three hours with a dining or experience reservation.

While they are allowed to visit you, there are some things to know about getting there. If your Guests are staying at a Disney Resort hotel, my recommendation is to take complimentary transportation from their hotel to a Disney theme park and then transfer to your hotel, depending on where each of you is staying. If they aren't staying at a Disney Resorts hotel, they'll need to park at one of the Disney theme parks, if they have a car, and then take transportation to your hotel. Ride share is also an option, and again, my recommendation is to be dropped off at a Disney theme park to use the transportation to your hotel.

I hope this has been helpful to you, Mandy! Please visit us again soon with any other planning questions you have.

    Grab hold of your dreams!
