I am wondering if we can take the Disney Minnie Van to a Disney Good Neighbor Hotel like Drury Plaza Hotel in Disney Springs.

Welcome to planDisney, Cynthia! I'm so glad you stopped by with your question.

One of my favorite things about Walt Disney World is its magical modes of transportation. In many ways, Disney World is a lot like a major city. There are plenty of things to do, places to eat, and there's no way to fit it all into just a single trip!

But what makes Disney World different from a standard city is the way you get around. You don't just take a normal bus. You take a bus that's all decked out in your favorite Disney characters. You can zip around on the monorail, fly free on the Disney Skyliner, or feel the wind in your hair like Moana as you wayfind all over "the world." Need a Lyft? Even those are magical! With Disney's Minnie Van™ service, you'll ride in polka-dotted glory just like the icon herself.

Now, Minnie Vans are super easy and convenient to use (just open your Lyft app while on Disney World property). However, they only service Disney Resorts Collection hotels, Shades of Green, the Walt Disney World Swan Hotel, the Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel, and the Walt Disney World Swan Reserve. I know this probably isn't the answer you were hoping for, but I do still have some good news.

Cynthia, I'm happy to share that many Disney Good Neighbor Hotels do offer shuttle service to and from the parks. This includes the Drury Plaza Hotel Orlando Lake Buena Vista, which is a wonderful place to stay (it even includes complimentary breakfast!). And if you're wishing on a star for a ride in a Minnie Van, you can always take it from park to park for a day of park-hopping fun!

Of course, if convenient park transportation is a priority during your stay, you may want to consider staying at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel. While there are lots of great reasons to stay at a Good Neighbor hotel, Disney transportation is one of the biggest perks of staying at an official Disney resort. You don't have to spend an arm and a leg for this benefit, either, thanks to Disney's value resorts. My personal favorite is Disney's Pop Century Resort - it's fun, it's colorful, and best of all, it's located conveniently on the Skyliner route for fast and easy transportation!

I hope this helps, Cynthia! Planning a Disney World vacation can involve lots and LOTS of choices, so feel free to write me directly if you have more questions as you plot your next big trip!

    See ya real soon,

    Allison
