Can I use a Disney rewards card to purchase lighting lane passes v

Hey, howdy, hey, Jim! Thanks for stopping by planDisney! Your Walt Disney World Resort vacation will be here before Mickey can say, "Oh, boy!" Let's look at how you can secure some Lightning Lane passes to streamline your park days.

As you probably know, guests of Disney Resort Hotels can purchase Lightning Lane passes up to 7 days before they check in; all other guests can buy them 3 days in advance. I hope you have your must-do list ready, because your window to purchase passes is coming up!

I chatted with a helpful Cast Member who said Disney Visa Reward Dollars are an accepted payment method for purchasing Lightning Lane passes in your My Disney Experience mobile app. You should see an option to choose reward dollars and a prompt to enter the card number.

Keep in mind that Disney Gift Cards and Disney Reward Dollars cannot be saved as payment methods, so you'll need to enter the card information each time you use it. If you have a balance, you can use a credit card to complete the transaction.

My top tip when using Lightning Lane Multi Pass is to book your first attraction early in the day. That way, you can select your next one immediately after scanning in. The best part is that most theme parks use a grouping system, so you can choose only one attraction from a group initially. But after you use your first Lightning Lane, you can select a new ride from any group!

Jim, I hope you have a magical visit with your crew! Please stop by planDisney anytime.

    Magic awaits,
    Elaine
