As a guest of Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort, you can check out the pools you're eligible to enjoy by selecting the
Recreation tab on the resort's home page. Scroll to select
"Pools at Bay Lake Tower" to see the pool list.
You can check out the
Bay Cove Pool with its thrilling water slide, or stroll over to Disney's Contemporary Resort to cannonball into the Main Pool or the Bay Lake Pool. Don't forget your sunscreen!
The pools at other Disney Resort Hotels are typically available only to registered guests and often require a room key to access. But I think you'll have a few splashtacular options at your resort!
Now, let's saddle up and chat about
Horseback Riding at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort. This Enchanting Extra is available to anyone, not just guests staying at The Fort. You can
book it online 60 days in advance for guests 9 and older. All equipment is provided for this scenic 45-minute trail ride.
My husband and I booked horseback riding last year, and we're definitely greenhorns. But the ranch hands were so helpful that we were sitting tall and confident for our adventure. My tip is to wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing and closed shoes. You can find all the details under "Know Before You Go" on the landing page.
If you're an equine family, you might also check out
Horse-Drawn Carriage Rides at Fort Wilderness Resort or
Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside. These 25-minute scenic rides are the perfect way to celebrate your family's visit. You can book this experience online 60 days in advance, too.
