Your plan to visit
Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park is smart, and your plan to find shade during your visit there is even smarter. It sounds like you've heard about the upgraded shaded loungers currently being tested. I'm happy to share that you can book the
Typhoon Lagoon Umbrellas in advance, and reservations are highly recommended, especially in summer. You can make your reservations online in advance of your trip. However, the upgraded seats are only able to be reserved day of by Guests who already have the umbrellas reserved. My

Please keep in mind that because these are in the testing phase, details could change at any time, so it's good to keep your eyes and ears open for any new information. I also recommend trying to arrive as early as possible to improve your chances of securing the upgrade, if available.
