If I buy the multi park pass that is good from May-October and add on the water park extras can I use 2 days of park and 1 day of water park on this trip and save the other 2 park and 3 water parks for another time?

    Hi Amanda!

Thanks for stopping by planDisney with such a great question as you get ready to visit Walt Disney World Resort this year!  As a Florida Resident, you have special access to some amazing deals, including the Disney Summer Ticket, which is currently available.  Let's take a closer look at this ticket and what you need to use it for, not just one, but two trips this year!

Amanda, the Disney Summer Ticket has a 2-Day, 3-Day, or 4-Day option and is valid for visits between May 17 and October 3, 2026.  You also have the choice to upgrade your tickets to include the Park Hopper Option, Water Park and Sports Option, or the Park Hopper Plus Option (which combines both the Water Park and Sports Option AND the Park Hopper Option).

When you purchase a ticket that includes the Water Park and Sports Option or the Park Hopper Plus Option, you'll not only get to enjoy your days in the theme parks, but also an equal number of visits to the water parks, golf, or miniature golf.  These tickets can be used on consecutive or nonconsecutive days, giving you the ultimate flexibility this summer!  As long as you use your 4 theme park days and 4 "extra" visits to the water parks or golf courses by October 3, 2026, you shouldn't have any problem spreading them out over multiple visits.

Don't forget that proof of Florida residency is required for these tickets.  Also, theme park reservations are required for the days you plan to visit the theme parks.  Once you have purchased your tickets and finalized your visit dates, I'd suggest making your theme park reservations.  While I don't commonly see reservations book up this time of year, theme park reservations are subject to availability, so I always like making them sooner rather than later when using a ticket that requires them.  If your plans change, you can always check availability to modify your theme park reservation to a new date.

If you haven't already booked a resort stay for your visits this summer, you won't want to miss the current room discounts available to Florida Residents as well.  When you stay at a hotel in the Disney Resorts Collection, you'll unlock even more great benefits, including Early Theme Park Entry, advanced booking windows for Lightning Lane passes and dining reservations, and access to Disney's complimentary resort transportation throughout Walt Disney World!  You'll also be able to add even more fun at the water parks between now and September 8, 2026, with complimentary water park access on your check-in day.  I was just at both Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park and Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park last week, and they were the perfect places to cool off on these hot summer days!

I hope this information has been helpful, Amanda, and that you enjoy your visits to Walt Disney World this summer!  If you have any other questions, please stop by to see us again here at planDisney!

    See ya real soon!
