We are annual pass holders so my son wanted to go with friends and we told him to purchase a season pass like ours instead he purchased a one day pass and is using it today….ugh!! Is there some way to transfer this to a pass and activate pass today??

Welcome to planDisney, Julie! I'm a fellow Floridian and Annual Passholder, so I'm thrilled to answer your question today. Since you're at the theme park, time is of the essence! Let's jump in to see about upgrading your son's ticket to a pass. Here we gooooo!

I double-checked with a helpful Cast Member who said your son can apply the one-day ticket cost to an annual pass, but he must do so before the theme park closes tonight. He can do this at any Guest Relations location at the theme park or look for a blue umbrella to ask the Guest Experience Team for assistance.

Remember that he must show valid proof of Florida residency to purchase a resident-exclusive pass, such as the Disney Pixie Dust Pass. I have that pass, and it's fabulous! The price is right, and the benefits and discounts really add up. Do I have too many passholder magnets on my bumper? Maybe. But who's counting?!

Julie, I have a 20-something son myself, so I completely understand your "Ugh!" What would they do without us? I'm sending pixie dust your way so he can upgrade his ticket and enjoy many magical days with family and friends at Walt Disney World Resort! Please come back by planDisney anytime.

    Magic awaits,
    Elaine
