Mikaela from FL Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

I bought a FL resident ticket last month, intending to use it in November, but have yet to be able to reserve those dates. When I look at ticket details it now says my ticket will only be valid April 2-Sep 28, 2024. Is that window accurate?

Hello, Mikaela, and thank you for stopping by planDisney! You have a magical ticket to Walt Disney World Resort, so woo-hoo! As a fellow Floridian, I enjoy the perks and discounts of resident Special Offers. Mickey is a marvelous host! Let's look at how you can determine the validity dates for the admission you purchased.

It sounds like you bought the Florida Resident Discover Disney Ticket. The use window for that promotional ticket is April 2, 2024, to September 28, 2024. That's probably why you've been unable to make theme park reservations for November since that ticket isn't valid for dates past September 28.

The best part about these tickets is that you don't have to visit the theme parks on consecutive days. You can spread out the magic! Just be sure to use all your tickets before they expire.

If you don't think you'll be able to use your tickets, I recommend calling the Existing Tickets line as soon as possible. They can determine the type of ticket you have and its expiration date. Sometimes, the cost of unused admission can be applied to a new ticket. Since this is a promotional ticket, I'm not sure what options they'll be able to offer, but it's worth a call.

My husband and I became Annual Passholders last year, and we've thoroughly enjoyed being in the family! The Pixie Dust Pass is a fabulous resident-exclusive deal if you plan to visit a few times during the year. And I may or may not have a slight problem collecting passholder magnets for my car!

Mikaela, I'm wishing on the evening star that you'll have a fabulous visit soon. Please remember planDisney if you have any other vacation-planning questions!

    Magic awaits,
    Elaine
