How do you purchase tickets for under 10 year olds

Oh boy, Kathleen! Your Walt Disney World Resort adventure begins NOW! Thanks for stopping by planDisney with this fabulous question. I'd be thrilled to discuss purchasing theme park tickets, so let's do it!

To purchase tickets online, log into your account and hover over the Tickets & Passes tab near the top of the home page. Click "Buy Theme Park Tickets" to get started. Choose the type of ticket you'd like to purchase, select the number of days, and choose a start date, if required. You might be asked if you'd like to add the Park Hopper Option, and the last choice you'll see is the age of each guest. You'll select the number of tickets you need for ages ten and older and the number for guests ages 3-9. Children under three are Mickey's special guests and don't need admission at all!

The process for buying tickets on your My Disney Experience Mobile App is similar. On the Welcome screen, scroll to "Buy Tickets & Passes" and follow the same steps above. The final selection will be the number of tickets by age. The best news is that children's admission is often discounted!

If you're on Disney property, I recommend heading to any Guest Relations location for in-person help purchasing admission for your little prince or princess. The Cast Members will do all the heavy lifting so you can head straight to the theme park. Look for ticketing windows at all four theme park entrances or the Disney Ticket Center at Disney Springs. Guests of Disney Resort hotels can purchase tickets at the Front Desk which is so convenient! Finally, feel free to call the New Tickets line for assistance. They can wave their wands to help you secure admission to the magic.

It sounds like you have some little ones in your party, so I recommend checking out the planning resources planDisney has put together. You'll find videos and podcasts where my panel pals discuss visits with kiddos. Their tips always get me in the mood for a Disney visit!

Kathleen, I'm sprinkling pixie dust your way and hoping your visit is extra magical. Please stop by planDisney anytime!

    Magic awaits,
    Elaine
