Your trip is so close and I am just so excited for you! You'll be walking right down the middle of Main Street, U.S.A., before you know it, so it's smart to plan ahead for all your park essentials.
While you'll find
Locker Rentals available for a small fee at the entrance of each park (and tucked just a few minutes' walk inside either of the
water parks), unfortunately, the fees are not transferable from park to park on the same day, like
theme park parking. You'll need to purchase your desired locker size at each location (subject to availability), but you'll have access to open and close it as many times as you need throughout the day. Purchases can easily be completed via a self-service kiosk when paying with cash or a credit card, or inside the nearest merchandise location if using a MagicBand or
Disney Gift Card.
My family opted to travel light during our time in the parks last week and stuck to a small belt bag and a refillable water bottle, which we took turns carrying. However, the lockers are helpful if you plan to do a lot of shopping, want to keep sunscreen or a change of clothes on hand, or even store a few snacks to nibble on throughout the day. If you have a heavy day of park hopping and don't want to purchase multiple locker rentals, I'd plan to pack a comfortable bag that's easy to carry and save the bulk of your souvenir shopping for the end of your day. This way, you can easily head out of the last park and back to your resort without carrying or storing your items across multiple destinations. We ended up doing most of our shopping at
Disney Springs on a rest day for that very reason, but we've also taken a mid-day resort break on past visits to drop off items and freshen up before heading back to the parks for an evening of fun.
