Ahoy there, Brittany!
Welcome aboard planDisney! I'm sure you are counting down the minutes until you sail away on your Disney Cruise Line vacation!
I know staying connected, even on vacation, is important so I'm happy to share information about connecting to onboard Wi-Fi. There are three different internet packages Guests can choose from (prices and packages are subject to change):
- The Stay Connected package lets you keep up with your social media, including posting photos. Currently, this package is $18 per day for one day or $16 per day if purchased for your entire voyage.
- The Basic Surf package has the additional benefit of checking email, internet access, and voice calls. Currently, this package is $28 per day for one day or $24 per day if purchased for your entire voyage.
- The Premium Surf package, which you will need for your video call, offers all of the above with faster connection speeds, streaming for short videos and music, plus video calling. Please note that you cannot stream from services such as Netflix and Hulu. Currently, this package is $42 per day for one day or $34 per day if purchased for your entire voyage.
Once you board the ship, you can connect using the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app. Simply open the app and select Connect to Internet which will open a new browser. You can view the available packages and select the one that works for you.
Keep in mind that you can use the
many features of the Navigator app through the complimentary onboard Wi-Fi. To connect, make sure your phone is in airplane mode and then connect to DCL-Guest WiFi to access all the features of the app. If you need it,
this video walks you through the steps.
Brittany, you are already one day closer to your vacation, but we are here to help if you have other questions!
Wishing you many magical memories,
Shannon
