Internet pkgs. So you pay for the day, if you have a 3 night cruise how does that convert to days purchased?

    Hi Anna,

Welcome aboard planDisney! Thanks for sailing by with your question. Lately, we've had lots of Guests who want to surf the net while they surf the waves, so I'm happy to answer your question, too!

Once on board, open the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app and select Connect to Internet. You can choose from three different internet packages during your cruise, which can be purchased for the length of your voyage or on a daily basis. Of course, the length of voyage package is the most economical. On my recent cruise, the following services were available (terms, price and packages are subject to change):

    • The Stay Connected package lets you keep up with your social media, including posting photos. Currently, this package is $18 per day for one day or $16 per day if purchased for your entire voyage.
    • The Basic Surf package has the additional benefit of checking email, internet access, and voice calls. Currently, this package is $28 per day for one day or $24 per day if purchased for your entire voyage.
    • The Premium Surf package offers all of the above with faster connection speeds, streaming for short videos and music, plus video calling. Please note that you cannot stream from services such as Netflix and Hulu. Currently, this package is $42 per day for one day or $34 per day if purchased for your entire voyage.

One thing to keep in mind is that the package is per device, not per stateroom. If you purchase one plan, you can use it on more than one device, but you may only be signed in to one device at a time. I found signing in and out to get tricky at times, but the Crew at the Guests Services Desk was helpful and had me connected in no time.

Wi-Fi service for using the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app or to send iMessage or WhatsApp messages to friends on board or at home is complimentary. Just open up your Navigator app for detailed instructions about how to connect (and how to avoid cellular network charges!).

I hope this information is what you were searching for, Anna. Please let us know if you have other questions before you set sail!

    Wishing you many magical memories,
    Shannon
