Welcome to planDisney! It looks like you're heading for the parks today, so let's jump right in.
You are correct that your Disney MagicBand+ can only be linked to one account on the
Disneyland Mobile App. I've run into that exact same problem! For my family, we opt to have all the bands managed through my account and phone. But you're also welcome to transfer your band from your wife's account to yours.
To transfer your band you'll need to use the chat feature in the mobile app so a Cast Member can help you. You can find the chat by tapping the "☰" button in the app and scrolling down to the "Chat with Us" option. Once you're connected to a Cast Member they'll have you provide the information for the account your band is currently linked to so that they can find it and move it to your account. It's usually pretty quick!
If you'll be visiting Disneyland Park today you should grab a snack and find a spot to enjoy the
"Magic Happens" Parade! I love the variety of characters in this parade (Merlin is a personal favorite of mine) and the music is fabulous. Use the app to
mobile order a treat from one of the nearby spots on Main Street, U.S.A. and you'll be good to go!
