How to link magic band for 2 year old with no ticket

    Hi, Kim! Welcome to planDisney.

I have excellent news to share: since a Visitor under three years of age does not require a ticket to enter the Theme Parks, they would not need to use a MagicBand+. If you've already bought a MagicBand+ device for your little one, save it for the next Disney trip when they're turned three years old or older!

Once they are at the required age to need a theme park ticket, you can link their MagicBand+ to the adult's MyDisney account that has purchased their ticket. You will open the Disneyland App, press the hamburger button (☰) at the bottom right-hand side of the screen, scroll toward the bottom of the page to the "MagicBand+" button, and press the "+" sign at the top right-hand side of the screen to get started.

If you have purchased the Lightning Lane Multi Pass service for your visit, a child under three is welcome to join you on the experience without being scanned into the attraction. Remember that height requirements will apply. Lastly, while at the parks check out other services available to families, such as Rider Switch and the Baby Care Center.

Kim, I hope you find this helpful as you plan your next Disney trip. Please feel free to return if you have any other questions. We are always available to help!

    Your Pal,
    Alejandra
