Howdy, Angel, and thank you for stopping by planDisney with this great question about ticket upgrades. I'm also a
Florida resident and have enjoyed my
Disney Pixie Dust Pass for the past couple of years. I'm excited that you're thinking of joining the passholder family! Let's talk about upgrade eligibility and the options you might have.
While most unused theme park tickets are
eligible for upgrades, several instances could prevent it. For example, if all days of your standard ticket have been used, you won't be able to upgrade to a pass. Once the theme park hours have ended on that final day of use, the ticket can no longer be upgraded.
If your ticket is for a special event such as
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, you won't be able to upgrade to a pass. Unused event tickets can often be applied to similar after-hours events, so keep that in mind for the future.
Complimentary and water park tickets typically can't be upgraded either, Angel. Or if you've used your regular ticket on a day blocked for the Annual Pass, it can't be upgraded to that particular pass. The Disney Pixie Dust Pass is
blocked on weekends, so if you used your standard ticket on a weekend, you wouldn't be eligible to convert to that particular pass.
But if you think your unused theme park ticket can be changed to an Annual Pass, please call the
Annual Passholders line. The Cast Members can see your account and admission type to advise you of your options best. You might decide to purchase a pass outright and take advantage of the
payment plan for Florida residents. I'm wishing on a star that you can join the Annual Passholder family soon!
Angel, thanks again for allowing
planDisney to help you plan your Disney adventures. We're always happy to help; maybe I'll see you real soon!
Magic awaits,
Elaine
