Hi Brian,
Welcome to planDisney!
It sounds like you are a really thoughtful guy, Brian. I can see that you want to make sure that the
Walt Disney World Resort vacation that you have planned for your beloved family is practically perfect in every way, and we want that for you, too!
If your Disney theme park tickets are date based, meaning that you selected a date to enter a theme park for the first time when you purchased them, then you are all set. If you have theme park tickets that do not have a specific date attached, like a
Disney Military Salute Ticket, Sports or Convention Tickets ticket or Disney Annual Passes, then you will need to make a
Theme Park Reservation for each day that you would like to visit one of Walt Disney World Resorts 4-incredible theme parks.
Other than that, since you have created your
My Disney Experience account, linked your
Disney theme park tickets for each Guest in your family, and have purchased and linked
MagicBands for your crew, it sounds to me like you are ready to walk confidently to the front gates of the Disney theme parks and tap in like you do this everyday. You have done well.
The first time that you use your Disney theme park tickets, each Guest will tap their MagicBand to hear the magical sound and then will scan their finger on the glass reader. If you have little ones in your crew, be sure to make a mental note of which finger on which hand was scanned. Our family has this discussion every. Single. Time!
Brian, you have clearly worked hard to give your family this amazing experience. If you have not purchased
Memory Maker yet, I highly recommend it. The moments captured by the incredible
Disney PhotoPass photographers and on Disney attractions will bring you smiles for years to come. It's a relief to commit to downloading them before you even arrive. Plus, you save a little money when you order in advance.
I'm so excited for your family, Friend! I know it is going to be an incredible time to connect and enjoy an adventure! After the planning is done and you have purchased all the things, try to slow down and soak it all in. This is what it is all about!
If you have any other questions,
I'd love to answer them for you!
Wishing you many magical memories,
Sally
