About Me

Hi Friends! I am Sally, a wine educator (yes, that's a real thing!) from the sunny salt marshes of southern Georgia. Well, we are really from just about everywhere, but that is where we have landed most recently. We love it here!

When I am not homeschooling our daughters, I am lucky to be part of a few family businesses. You might find me pruning our vineyard in the morning, helping a young family coordinate a dishwasher repair in their rental home in the afternoon, and teaching a class on Riesling in the evening. It feels like the "Wildest Ride in the Wilderness,"and my restless heart wouldn't have it any other way.

I'm also a triathlete, runDisney super-fan, coffee enthusiast, wife, and mom to two daughters and seven (yes, seven!) pets.

On our Disney vacations, find me power-walking from attraction to attraction...then lounging by the pool!

I am so glad you are here!

About My Family

We are proud to be a family in public service. Mr. B. is a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. Though he is brave, he is also silly. There is no telling when you will find him in the living room blasting our Disney playlist and singing with his girls. He will tell you his favorite character is Wreck-It Ralph, but it's really Rapunzel. (Don't let on that you know!)

We have a teen and a tween in this house, and we love it! Our teenager is the ultimate animal whisperer. She will go to family events but you will only catch her with the pets. We are pretty sure she will have her own 101 Dalmatians one day. For now, our seven furry friends will have to do.

Our tween tinkers like Shuri and reads like Belle. She is kind, imaginative, and funny. When she isn't on stage, she is taking apart our appliances, piecing together new costumes to wear out to dinner, or starting, "Just one more chapter." Life is never boring with a creator in the house!

This is only part of our story. Our family is huge and growing by the minute! We almost always travel with aunts, uncles, grandparents, step-parents, friends, friends-who-are-family, and even friends we have met while playing games in a queue. We are a bit loud, always laughing, slow-moving, and blessed beyond measure.

About My Disney Experience

It is the first glimpse of Cinderella Castle at sunrise. It's the whir of the monorail as it speeds overhead. It's a bright yellow, rain-soaked Mickey Mouse Disney Parks Poncho over my obsessively planned Grad Night outfit. It could be our entire family strolling through Epcot after a last minute decision to enjoy dinner at Walt Disney World Resort. These are directly from my childhood highlight reel.

I grew up just a short drive from Walt Disney World Resort in sunny Daytona Beach, Florida. My parents understood the power of magic and imagination in our lives, so they prioritized our time in Disney Parks. We knew exactly where to go whenever our large, blended family needed a jolt of fun to get back on track. Walt Disney World Resort was our place of excitement and peace. It was always just what we needed.

Shortly after our second daughter was born, I couldn't wait to plan our first Walt Disney World Resort Vacation with our new generation of Disney Princesses. We soon discovered Disney Vacation Club and knew that it was a perfect fit. We are thrilled to return to our place of wonder with our girls so that their favorite childhood memories will be framed by the same landmarks that remain in the background of my own. It truly speaks to my heart when the incredible Disney Vacation Club Resort Cast Members give us a warm, “Welcome Home” when we stroll hand-in-hand through the doors at DVC Resorts at Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland, or board a Disney Cruise Line ship.

runDisney race vacations have added a whole new element of fun to our getaways as our girls have grown. We often travel with three generations of our family and all have loved training for events from the Walt Disney World Marathon to the runDisney Kids Races. We can be active and have fun together. It's perfect for us!
