The free admission to the water parks perk on check-in day for
Disney World resort guests is currently valid for check-in dates from May 26 to September 8, 2026. This is a part of this year’s
Cool KIDS’ SUMMER event!
While I like to “never say never,” my guess is that the perk will not extend into October. When this perk was first announced toward the end of last year, it was specified that it would only be for the summer of 2026, which has since been reflected by the dates provided above.
If you’re hoping to visit the
water park during your vacation, I recommend adding the Park Hopper Plus Option or the Water Park and Sports Option onto your theme park ticket or
purchasing your water park ticket separately.
It’s good to note that once Cool KIDS’ SUMMER is over, the water parks may go back to operating on an alternating basis. It hasn’t been announced which water park will remain open and which will close, yet, though! You can check the
Hours & Events Calendar for more information as your trip gets closer.
While Cool KIDS’ SUMMER will be over by the time your trip comes around, the
fall festivities will be in full force! And that’s one of my favorite times of the year at Disney World! I’m hoping we hear all about
