That truly sounds like such a fun and memorable adventure, especially getting to share all those magical moments together. With so much in store this summer, it’s wonderful that you’ll be there to experience all the magic, excitement, and unforgettable moments the season has to offer!
I think purchasing Lightning Lane passes for your visit is a smart choice. They’re one of the best ways to maximize your time in the parks and avoid the longer standby lines, especially during the busy and warmer summer months!
Even though you can purchase theme park tickets individually, it’s important to make sure everyone in your party is linked through the Family & Friends List in the My Disney Experience app. Linking your group not only keeps everyone connected, but it also allows one person to make all Lightning Lane selections for the entire party.
If you’re together in person, the easiest way to link guests is through the app. Open the My Disney Experience app and go to the menu (≡) in the bottom right corner. Tap “Profile” and switch to view your Family & Friends List at the top. Scroll to the bottom and tap the blue plus sign next to “Add a Guest” to start the process.
On the next screen, choose “Scan their linking code.” The other guest should go to their Profile, scroll to the bottom, and select “Show My Linking Code.” Use your phone to scan their code, and just like that, you’ll be linked.
If the guest isn’t with you, tap “Add a Guest” and enter their name, age, and email address when prompted. This will send them an invitation. Once they accept through the email link, you’ll be connected and ready to share plans.
Don't forget that as a Guest at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge, you'll receive complimentary water park admission on your check-in day! It's such a fantastic perk during the summer months.
