Welcome to planDisney, Lauren! We’re so glad you sailed by with your question!
A land and sea Disney adventure sounds like the perfect vacation combo! While all Disney Resort Hotels offer
Bell Services for luggage storage, they can only hold bags for Guests with an active reservation that night. Since you’ll be disembarking and won’t have a resort stay that evening, you won’t be able to leave your luggage at a Disney hotel.
But don’t worry—I’ve got a few ideas to help you
carry on with your plans!
• If you have a rental car, you might consider keeping your bags in the trunk while you explore.
Disney Springs parking garages and surface lots are patrolled by security. Of course, this depends on your comfort level with leaving luggage in an unattended vehicle.
• If you’re adding a park day, Magic Kingdom and EPCOT offer
jumbo-sized lockers (17” x 22” x 26”) that can fit carry-on-sized suitcases. Since locker rental locations are inside the parks, this option works best if you plan to visit one before heading to the airport.
• While I'm no expert, I believe at Orlando International Airport (MCO), most airlines allow you to check bags up to three hours before departure. However, some third-party companies at MCO offer secure luggage storage for a fee, allowing you to roam baggage-free. You might even find a service that picks up your bags from the cruise terminal with a quick internet search or by checking MCO’s FAQ section.
I hope this helps you
keep your travel plans on track, Lauren! If you have any other questions, we’re all ears. Wishing you a magical and smooth sailing trip!
