Hi Cathleen,
Welcome to planDisney. I'm so sorry to hear your upcoming trip needs to be canceled, but I can certainly understand that life sometimes causes the best-laid plans to be adjusted. Let's see if we can help get you ready to reschedule your magical visit for another time.
I'm not sure whether you purchased
Park Hopper Option tickets as a stand-alone item or part of a package with a Disney Resort Hotel room. If you purchased a
Vacation Package, you can cancel the package up to 30 days prior to arrival for a full refund. If you cancel between 2-29 days you'd receive a refund subject to applicable cancellation fees and penalties per room. Packages canceled the day prior to arrival would forfeit the entire cost paid.
A ticket purchase is non-refundable but you can apply the cost paid to new travel dates as long as the ticket is wholly unused. You wouldn't be able to transfer unused days on a multi-day ticket once at least one day of the admission entitlement has been used. When changing your plans, be sure to cancel any associated
dining or
Enchanting Extras Collection reservations you've made for your original travel dates to avoid any additional cancellation or no-show fees.
I'd recommend reaching out to your travel agent for assistance if you are hoping to reschedule your trip. You are also welcome to
contact a Cast Member by phone for further assistance in changing your ticket dates. Keep in mind you will need valid admission and a theme park reservation for each day you plan to visit the parks.
I hope you'll be able to change your travel dates to another time this year. The Disney100 celebration has made its way to the east coast from Disneyland Resort, and there are a number of
new thrills awaiting you at the parks. My personal favorite nighttime spectacular
Happily Ever After has once again returned to light the skies over Cinderella Castle at Magic Kingdom Park, and it's an experience you won't want to miss.
Feel free to stop back with any further questions. We'd be happy to help!
Magic and memories,
Amy
