I want to plan a trip for February 2024 but I can’t reserve a room or tickets at this point. I wanted to do the payment plan but without being able to book currently how do I utilize it?

Hey there, Taylor! Welcome to planDisney.

Like Hercules, "I have often dreamed of a far-off place..." and that place is always Walt Disney World Resort! There's nothing quite like planning for a trip to The Most Magical Place on Earth, especially one that's a little far in the distance. That just means that there's more time to dream about all of your magical plans!

Taylor, at this time, Guests are able to book vacation packages and Disney Resorts Collection hotel reservations through the end of the year. Typically, reservations for the following year open up somewhere between late spring and summer. I'm wishing upon a star that we hear about reservations for 2024 soon! My best tip would be to keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog, which often announces these exciting updates first.

Until then, it's time to think about which Disney Resorts Collection hotel you'd like to call "home" on your upcoming visit! When you're ready to book, you'll pay a $200 deposit (at the time of this writing, subject to change) and the final payment will be due 30 days prior to your arrival date. While official payment plans aren't offered, you're welcome to make payments towards this trip between your initial deposit and final payment! Personally, I like to pay my reservation a little each month, making my final payment a breeze.

Once you book your vacation package, don't forget to make your theme park reservations made with the Disney Park Pass system! This is an important step to reserve the parks you'd like to visit on each day of your trip. And take some time to download and explore the My Disney Experience app, too! This app feels a little like a magic wand in your hand, helping you to unlock everything that Walt Disney World Resort has to offer.

I hope I was able to point you in the right direction today, Taylor! If you have any other questions, please write to us again.

You've got a friend in me!
