Hello, Hiromi!
Welcome to planDisney. I’m so glad you’re visiting the Disneyland Resort this week. The weather looks absolutely perfect for a magical trip!
You’re correct that Guests at Walt Disney World can purchase Lightning Lane Multi Pass up to three days before their park visit if not staying on-site. However, Disneyland works a little differently. I know it can be confusing to figure out the differences between the two resorts! At Disneyland, Guests can typically add
Lightning Lane Multi Pass at the time they purchase their theme park tickets. If they skip it then, they can usually buy it after scanning into a park on the Disneyland app.
While Lightning Lane Multi Pass is always subject to availability, it rarely sells out in my experience. That said, I still recommend purchasing it as soon as you enter the park. This way, you can start reserving Lightning Lanes right away! As a
Magic Key passholder, I always buy mine after scanning in, so it’s a very common process.
Before your visit, be sure to download the
Disneyland app, which you’ll use to book Lightning Lanes throughout the day. I also highly recommend using
mobile order to pre‑order meals. It saves so much time and lets you spend more of your day enjoying attractions instead of waiting in food lines! The app is also great for checking wait times and viewing entertainment schedules, including appearances by
Bluey at the Fantasyland Theatre or showtimes for the dazzling
Paint the Night parade.
Hiromi, I hope you have the most wonderful day at Disneyland! Feel free to contact us again if you have more questions!
Magic Happens!
