Can I call to discuss vacation packages?

    Hello, Becky!

Thanks for sending a question to planDisney! I know planning a trip to the Disneyland Resort can feel a bit overwhelming. There are so many wonderful options to choose from, but that’s also what makes it so fun!

You can call the "Vacation Packages" line, where a friendly Cast Member can walk you through all your choices. Before you call, it helps to jot down a quick list of questions so nothing slips your mind. I make lists for everything…if I didn’t, I wouldn't remember anything!

Vacation Packages are perfect for Guests who want to bundle their hotel stay and theme park tickets together. Disneyland Resort has three on‑property hotels, and I genuinely love each one for different reasons!

Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa offers a gorgeous, woodsy atmosphere and has its own entrance into Disney California Adventure Park. It’s also home to my favorite Character Dining spot, Storytellers Cafe, although you can dine there even if you’re staying elsewhere. The Grand Californian is usually the highest‑priced option, but it’s also the most luxurious.

The Disneyland Hotel is a dream for Guests who love classic Disney nostalgia. The black‑and‑white photos, the retro‑futuristic touches, and the nods to Disneyland’s earliest days make it feel like you’re staying inside a living piece of history. You’ll spot references to the original 1955 park, early attraction artwork, and even the spirit of Walt’s optimistic vision woven throughout the towers. My kids adore the Monorail‑themed waterslides, and Goofy’s Kitchen is always a hit for breakfast.

Pixar Place Hotel is ideal for fans of Pixar’s incredible storytelling, as the hotel is filled with playful nods to beloved Pixar films. During my last stay, we even visited with Bing Bong a few times! Great Maple Modern American Eatery serves a delicious breakfast, and the pool deck makes for a fun afternoon break. It’s also typically the most budget‑friendly of the three Disney hotels.

You can also consider a Good Neighbor Hotel. Many are within walking distance or offer shuttle service, but I always recommend choosing one you can walk to. After a full day of magic, being able to stroll straight back to your room is practically priceless!

I hope this gives you some helpful things to think about as you decide where to stay. Feel free to reach out to me if you have other questions!
