We are planning a trip in 2025 for my 50th birthday. We will have 20 people in our party is there a special rate for a group this big? We are planning for November or December

Welcome, Brenda! On behalf of all of us at planDisney, a very merry unbirthday to you! I can't think of anything more magical than celebrating in 'The Happiest Place on Earth' with your loved ones, and I'm so excited you're beginning the planning process now. You've come to the right place because we love helping our fellow Guests make their own Disney vacation dreams come true!

Now, Brenda, let's get you some helpful advice as you consider all the details of your Disneyland Resort visit. I imagine you're considering options for lodging, tickets and theme park reservations, dining, and more. So, let me share some tips on organizing large travel parties in each of these categories.

First, if you are considering accommodations at one of the three Disneyland Resort hotel properties, I suggest making a call to the Hotel Reservations Line so that a Cast Member can assist with what will likely be multiple reservations. Currently, the online reservation system permits a max of 8 Guests per online booking, so making these reservations by phone really might be your best option and the Cast Members can go over all your options, including rates. If you need 10 or more rooms, you can contact Disney Group Getaways.

I'm not aware of specially priced tickets for large groups other than school and convention groups. For this reason, I suggest reviewing your standard ticket options and ensuring that your travel party makes your theme park reservations up to 180 days prior to your visit. I'll share some guidance on how to link the tickets together for your entire group.

Finally, you might be thinking about how to organize dining for a large travel party of 20! I have some tips on how to search dining availability for large group reservations at table service locations, up to 60 days before your arrival. Sometimes, this may require splitting your large group into smaller reservations, but it is totally doable! Quick service dining locations also traditionally have large seating areas and do not require reservations. Sometimes this is a nice option for everyone to order at the counter (or using the mobile food and beverage ordering) and then find tables together to accommodate your group.

Brenda, I know this is a lot of logistics to think through but it seems like you have plenty of time to get everything in order for your most magical group vacation! I hope you'll feel welcome to come back to planDisney and reach out to me again if I can help with any other ideas or inspiration for your very special birthday celebration. You deserve all the magic!

    Wishing you Wondrous Journeys,
    Tishra
