Welcome, Nellie! We're so happy to have you here at planDisney!
You've asked a great question, and it sounds like you might be accustomed to the
Family & Friends list at Walt Disney World Resort. There is currently no such feature at Disneyland Resort in California, but there are still strategies to link certain plans together for the members of your travel party. My suggestion is to start by having each member of your group log into their Disney account and use the menu options under "My Disneyland."
My Hotel Reservations: If you are staying at a Disneyland Resort hotel, each member of your group can add the hotel reservation number, the name of the Guest who booked the reservation, and the date of arrival. Once this information is loaded into the
Link Resort Reservation page, each Guest will have access to the hotel information on their account.
Tickets and Park Reservations: If you haven't already done so, I suggest that you link the tickets for each member of your travel party to each Guest's account. This can be done using the "
Link Tickets" page, by entering the ticket ID number found underneath the barcode in your email confirmation for your ticket purchase. Then, if you have already secured your park reservations, you should see them listed in your
My Plans section for each member of your group. If you need to make
park reservations, you can do so for every member of your travel party that you have already linked to your account.
Dining Reservations: At the moment, only the Guest who books dining reservations or
Enchanting Extras will have access to manage each reservation. When I am traveling with a large group, I typically take screenshots of my booking confirmation to share with my family and friends. Or, we simply designate one person to manage these reservations on behalf of the entire group.
Now, Nellie - the suggestions I've shared thus far refer to using the Disneyland website to make and manage your plans for your travel group. But, one of my favorite recommendations is actually using the
official Disneyland mobile app which can offer all the same features from your smartphone or mobile device! I recently shared some
similar advice about how to link plans for a large group using the mobile app, in case this is your preferred approach too. I hope it is helpful to you!
In the meanwhile, if we can answer any other questions about your upcoming visit, please don't hesitate to come back and see us again here at
planDisney!
Magically yours,
Tishra
