Hello Michelle!
Thanks for bringing your question our way. I believe you are hoping to
upgrade a standard theme park ticket to an Annual Pass. If so, I'm happy to detail all the necessary information.
I had a
similar question from another guest a few weeks ago and as I advised them, upgrades must meet a few different criteria. First, your multi-day ticket
must be upgraded before redeeming the final day as my pal LeAndra explains here. Second, you'll need to review the
blockout calendar to be sure you haven't already used one of the 3 days on your ticket during a blockout period for the pass you plan to upgrade to. For example, if you want to upgrade to a Disney Pixie Dust Pass, which is typically blocked out on the weekends, you cannot upgrade a multi-day ticket that has been used on a weekend.
Finally, your
Annual Pass start date will be backdated to the first day you visited using your 3-day standard theme park ticket. Your pass will be valid for one year from that date and not from the date you complete the actual upgrade.
You can contact a Cast Member by phone for more information and may be able to complete the process via the
My Disney Experience Mobile App. If you are hoping to take advantage of monthly payments for any remaining balance, if applicable, you'd need to complete the upgrade process in person. This can be done at the ticket window at the main entrance of any theme park or at the
Disney Ticket Center at Disney Springs.
I hope this helped, Michelle. If we can answer any additional questions please come back and let us know. I'm wishing you a year full of magic and
plenty of Passholder perks!
Magic and memories,
Amy
