Hi there, Denise, and welcome to planDisney!
You’re one month away from your visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth, and you’ll be there during the most magical time of the year. At every turn, there will be something to admire and experience. From the
Holiday Cookie Stroll at the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays to taking in the celebratory trees and lights at
Disney Springs, you’re in for a lot of memory making, Denise.
Upgrading your Walt Disney World theme park ticket is possible, so you can soak in the wonder all year long! First, you’ll want to make sure that you have not entirely used the tickets that you’d like to upgrade to annual passes. If you’ve purchased a multi-day ticket, feel free to begin using the ticket once you’ve arrived, but upgrade it before you’ve scanned in on the last day. The key is that you’ll have something left to apply toward your Walt Disney World Resort annual pass.
During your vacation, visit
Guest Relations, and a friendly Cast Member will help you upgrade your tickets. You can find these locations at the front of each theme park or at the Disney Springs Disney Ticket Center. You can also visit the
Help Center webpage and use the “Existing Tickets” phone number to upgrade your unused tickets.
At the moment, only Sunshine State (Florida) residents like my family are eligible to enroll in a monthly payment plan for Walt Disney World Resort annual passes. So, you would have to pay in full. The
Disney Incredi-Pass, which has no blockout dates (woohoo!), would be your pass of choice as a Mouseketeer who lives outside of Florida.
Denise, if you have any other questions about your upcoming holiday adventure,
give us a holler here at planDisney! Any one of us would love to help you with those little (or big) details that make all the difference.
Magic always,
LeAndra
