Hi Michelle, and thanks for bringing your question to planDisney! I love using
Lightning Lane Multi Pass at Magic Kingdom since there are so many eligible rides. My current favorite is
Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin because the attraction was recently
revamped with fun interactive targets. Because of this, the wait times have been a little longer lately, so it’s a great use of Lightning Lane Multi Pass right now.
Now, let’s chat about your upcoming visit. In my experience, you can absolutely purchase Lightning Lane Multi Pass for a park that’s different from the one you’re starting at, as long as you have a park hopper ticket (or Annual Pass) linked to your My Disney Experience account.
When you purchase Lightning Lane Multi Pass, you’ll get it for Magic Kingdom and can make three selections in advance. If you stay at EPCOT longer than anticipated, you can always modify your Lightning Lane selections, subject to availability, of course. Generally, the earlier you book or modify, the better the available attractions and return times will be. And don’t forget, as soon as you scan into your first Lightning Lane entrance, you can make another selection (for some attractions, there may be two touchpoints to scan before the app will let you book your next selection).
If you’re thinking of also purchasing Lightning Lane Single Pass, you can buy two per day, and they can be for rides at different parks. So, if you’re a thrill seeker, you may want to get them for both
Guardians of the Galaxy and
TRON!
I’m wishing you the best day ever at both EPCOT and Magic Kingdom! And if you have any other questions, you’re always welcome back at planDisney.
