Hi Valerie, and welcome to planDisney! It’s such a BOO-tiful time to be at Disney World, with the pumpkins on Main Street, U.S.A. and the
EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival underway. So let’s chat about the televisions in the
Disney resort hotel rooms!
The televisions may vary by resort hotel, but most have a device that lets you watch standard television stations, stream select Disney on demand content, and cast from your phone or tablet. You can even find information about hotel services and park hours. When you get to your room, you’ll find a channel guide on the television when you navigate to Watch TV. While the exact lineup can change, I’ve found it typically has a really good assortment of basic cable stations for watching news, sports, and kids content, as well as movies. There are also several special Disney channels.
You can even watch a recording of
Happily Ever After in the On Demand section. My family loves to get Mickey ice cream bars at our resort hotel’s quick service eatery and enjoy them in our room while watching Happily Ever After!
Before I go, I just wanted to mention that if you’re planning to go to EPCOT, be sure to check out the
Disney Eats: EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival Foodie Guide on Disney Parks Blog. It has all the Global Marketplace menus with lots of pictures—perfect for planning your snacking strategy!
I’m wishing you a magical time at Disney World this week! And if you have any other questions, we’d love to have you back at planDisney.
