Hiya Nicole,
Welcome to planDisney! I hope that you are excited for your upcoming trip. My dream is to be at Walt Disney World Resort over Thanksgiving. The holiday decorations will be up, and you don’t have to cook any meals or clean any dishes afterward. As Moana says, “What could be better than this?”
I’m sure starting your day with the perfect cup of coffee will make your trip even more magical. While your resort hotel room at
Pop Century Resort will come with coffee that perfectly fits in your coffee maker (typically the Joffrey’s Blend that they provide contains less acid, but I wasn’t able to confirm the makeup of the blend), I completely understand wanting to make sure that you have your preferred coffee with you. Two of my planDisney pals, Allison and Kurt, recently did a full resort guide on Pop Century Resort, and I saw that Pop Century Resort hotel rooms come equipped with a Cuisinart 2-cup coffee maker. This coffee maker uses standard single-serve pods, so I would make sure to bring your low-acid blend in a pod style to fit the machine.
I hope this was helpful, Nicole. Before I let you go, while researching your question, I found that cold brew coffees tend to be lower acid because of their brewing process. Luckily, Walt Disney World Resort has some of the best cold brews according to panelists. The Peanut Butter Nitro Cold Brew at
Gideon’s Bakehouse in Disney Springs is one I hear about a lot. I’ve also heard amazing things about the Cold Brew Black Caf at
Kat Saka’s Kettle in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. I may not be a coffee connoisseur, but if you need more recommendations, you can always come back and visit
us here at planDisney. Coffee and panelists go together like Mickey and Minnie, so I’m sure you will get no shortage of recommendations here.
Happy Planning,
Ashley F.
