Is this information updated as of this year I’m Hearing a lot of people say that the buses are no longer available to those who are not staying on resort premises we are staying at the Disney sister resort the holiday inn resort near the springs

    Hi Melissa!

Welcome to planDisney! There were some recent changes to the transportation policy at Disney World, so I’m happy to help you out!

As of June 28, 2026, guests will now only be able to use Disney World’s transportation (buses and boats) from Disney Springs to the resorts if they’re a Disney World resort guest or have a dining or Enchanting Extras reservation at a Disney World resort. There have been no other changes to transportation at this time. So, for example, if you’re at the Magic Kingdom and want to hop on the Monorail to visit a nearby resort, you’re currently more than welcome to!

This new policy only affects guests specifically traveling from Disney Springs to the resorts.

During your visit this summer, make sure to check out all the fun things happening around the theme parks for Cool KIDS’ SUMMER! There are so many fun character meet-and-greets available, and it makes for a great break from the heat. I know my boys are so excited for GoofyCore at Epcot!

I hope that helps! If you have any other questions as you continue to plan, feel free to come back and visit us!
