Hello there! If staying at Coronado Springs or Disney Springs hotels (Wyndham/Hilton/Drury), can we still use Disney buses/boats to resort-hop to places like Animal Kingdom Lodge? What are the new limits for leaving Disney Springs? TIA! ✨

Heigh-ho, heigh-ho, it's off to Walt Disney World you go, Alexandre! Welcome back to planDisney! It sounds like you've heard about the recent changes to Disney Resort hotel bus and boat transportation from Disney Springs. Thanks for asking us your question so we can help you with your options.

It's true that boat and bus transportation from Disney Springs is available to Guests with a Disney Resort hotel, dining or experience reservation, and proof of such may be required. This means that if you're staying at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort, you'll be able to use the buses from Disney Springs. However, neighboring resorts, such as the ones you mentioned, aren't included, and Guests of these hotels will need a dining or experience reservation at a Disney Resort hotel to use the Disney boat or bus transportation from Disney Springs up to 2 hours in advance of their reservation.

I know this may be disappointing to Guests of neighboring hotels, yet the good news is, nothing has changed regarding transportation to and from other areas of Walt Disney World. So, Guests who aren't staying at a Disney Resort hotel can continue using all the other wonderful complimentary transportation options. Keep in mind that this is subject to change, so double check when it's closer to your trip to make sure you have all the latest information.

During your visit to Disney Springs, make sure you carve out enough time to enjoy all there is to do. I can easily spend an entire day there shopping, eating and enjoying the entertainment. I never pass up an opportunity to pick up some chocolates at The Ganachery. And a visit to Walt Disney World is never complete without dining at The BOATHOUSE. I crave their filet mignon sliders and fries year-round. In the evenings, there's often live entertainment around every corner, it seems. Splitsville also has great food and, of course, great bowling. LEVEL99 is a new interactive venue with all sorts of food and beverages to keep you sustained while playing multiple floors full of games designed for adults.

Alexandre, I hope this has been helpful to you. Please visit us again with any other planning questions you have.

    Grab hold of your dreams!
