If I’m doing a two day visit at Disneyland + hopper option and it’s 2 adults and 2 kids how many tickets in total am I purchasing 4 or 8?

Welcome to planDisney, Fabiola! I can see that your visit to Disneyland is right around the corner. Let's talk through logistics so you can be ready for two days of magical memories.

Each person in your group will need theme park admission for each day they visit. If you and your group are visiting Disneyland for two days, then you will each need admission for two days, which would be a total of 4 tickets. Park Hopper is an add-on that you can place on your two-day theme park tickets to allow you and your group to hop between Disneyland and Disney California Adventure. Thus, when you check out, you will need to have 4 two-day theme park tickets with the Park Hopper add-on.

In addition to theme park tickets, each person will need a reservation to either Disneyland or Disney California Adventure. When you are in the process of purchasing your tickets, you will be asked to select a starting park. Don’t worry about choosing which park to begin your day with; you will be able to hop over to the other park at any point in the day! Simply ensure that each person in your group has a reservation.

Finally, you may want to download the Disneyland app in advance of your visit. The app will be your hub for managing your visit to the Disneyland Resort. The app not only provides you with a map so you can navigate the park, but you can also mobile order your food, manage Lightning Lanes, and see where characters will be meeting throughout the park. I recommend taking some time to familiarize yourself with the Disneyland app so you’ll be ready to take full advantage of its capabilities.

Fabiola, I hope this helps you prepare for your next trip with confidence. If you have any additional questions, please don’t hesitate to visit us here again at planDisney!

    Have a wonderful visit!
