Hiya, Frank!
Can you believe that you're just one month away from your Walt Disney World Resort vacation? Before you know it you'll be lounging poolside at a
Disney Resort hotel. Don't forget to grab a cold beverage and Mickey-shaped snack!
One of my favorite things about Walt Disney World Resort pools (aside from the fun theming) is that they are heated to a
practically perfect 82 degrees Fahrenheit — making them a great place to rest weary theme park feet year round. From the guitar-shaped pool featuring a Three Caballeros centerpiece at
Disney's All-Star Music Resort to the classic carnival-themed slide of
Disney's BoardWalk Inn, I've never encountered a Disney Resort pool that's left me wanting, so I completely understand your desire to share the experience with a guest. Unfortunately though, Frank, only registered Disney Resort hotel Guests are permitted to use the pools of Disney Resort hotels.
If possible, you might consider
adding your friend to your Disney Resort hotel reservation. This would enable them to easily navigate the security checkpoint at the entrance to the hotel and join you for a relaxing day (or two) at the pool. If the size of your travel party prohibits this option, any friends who might stop by for a visit are more than welcome to join you for a meal or stroll around your hotel, other hotels,
Disney's BoardWalk, or
Disney Springs instead. In my group of friends (that we affectionately call 'framily'), there's nothing like sharing laughs over a good meal, so you might consider venturing over to one of the resorts along the
Walt Disney World Monorail for delicious food with incredible views - no theme park ticket required!
I'm sure this isn't what you were hoping to hear, Frank, but I hope that I've provided an alternative that will allow you to spend quality time with your pal. If you're in need of further assistance, please know that you're always welcome to
stop back by planDisney. I'm happy to help!
Thinking Happy Thoughts,
Lizzie
