Hello Timothy,
I'm so glad you've brought your question our way!
Disney's Contemporary Resort holds a special place in my heart, as it was where I stayed during my very first Walt Disney World Resort visit. This past summer, I had the joy of reliving those cherished memories when I returned with my own family, more than 30 years later, for another magical vacation.
You've made a great choice for your upcoming April visit, as the location, dining and amenities at this resort are top-notch! My kids loved
The Incredibles theming and the spectacular evening fireworks views, and I loved being just a short walk away from the enchantment of Magic Kingdom Park. You're sure to have a most magical stay!
Your
Theme Park View 1 Bedroom Suite - Club Level will offer space for 6 adults with 2 Queen Beds in the bedroom and a Queen Sleeper Sofa in the living area. You'll also enjoy 2 full bathrooms, a dedicated dining space, and a full-sized refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker in the kitchenette. While these rooms offer plenty of space with the added bonus of Club Level Access for complimentary snacks and beverages throughout your stay, the rooms
do not feature an in-unit washer and dryer. This would be reserved for 1-Bedroom Villas at
Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort which is connected via Sky Way Bridge on level 4 of Contemporary's Main Tower.
These Villa units are available as part of Disney Vacation Club (DVC) but can also be booked as cash reservations for non-DVC guests. You'll enjoy a washer and dryer with a reservation in 1, 2, or 3-Bedroom Grand Villas, however, these will not come with Club Level Access.
If you need access to laundry services during your stay you can head to the 1st floor of Bay Lake Tower, or the 2nd floor of the South Garden Wing, another building connected by a covered walkway when exiting the Main Tower near the resort pools. Cast Members at the Front Desk will be happy to provide you with a resort map, but you can also access one from your phone using the
My Disney Experience Mobile App during your stay. I recommend having this app handy as you can use it to
check bus times on days you plan to visit Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park or Disney's Hollywood Studios.
I hope this clears up any confusion, Timothy. If we can answer any additional questions ahead of your arrival please come back and let us know.
Magic and memories,
Amy
