    A friend of mine bought me and my wife Anaheim residents tickets for our bdays are we able to use them if we live somewhere else but not Anaheim and they were purchased by someone else ?

    Thanks for bringing your question about theme park tickets to us at planDisney. I’m glad to hear you want to enjoy some pixie-dusted time with your wife at the Happiest Place on Earth! 

    It sounds like you were given Anaheim Resident Offer tickets. While it was a very nice gesture, these tickets are meant to be purchased and used by Anaheim residents only. All adult Guests must be able to show proof of eligible residency in the form of a valid government-issued photo ID upon entry at the theme parks when using this ticket type. If you do not have a photo ID that proves you reside within ZIP codes 92801 through 92809, 92812, 92814 through 92817, 92825, 92850, or 92899, you will unfortunately not be allowed to enter the theme park with this ticket. 

    I hate to be the bearer of this less-than-magical news, Kelly. However, if you are hoping for a way to visit the parks for less, there is a 3-Day Disneyland Ticket Offer that is available to all Guests for theme park visits from now through September 26, 2024. These three days don’t have to be used consecutively and can be spread out over the entire offer period! You can also hear about the latest deals for the Disneyland Resort by following the Disney Parks Blog for updates.
