Hello, Gigi!
Welcome to
planDisney, and thanks for stopping by to ask us a question about the
Disneyland Resort. I’m glad to hear you want to plan a visit to the Happiest Place on Earth!
There is currently a
Disney Military Promotional Park Hopper Ticket offer for eligible military members and their spouses. These tickets are available to members of the U.S. military with valid ID, including the National Guard, Reservists, the U.S. Coast Guard, the U.S. Space Force, the Commissioned Corps of the Public Health Service (PHS), and the Commissioned Corps of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). To purchase these tickets without being an active duty military member, your husband must be a retired veteran with 20+ years of service or a 100% permanent and total service-connected disabled veteran.
If his status does not meet the qualifications for that specific offer, there are other options to help you experience the magic for less! Most on-base military ticket offices offer slightly discounted
theme park tickets that can be purchased in person before your visit to the resort. As a bargain-hunter myself, I like to buy
Disney Gift Cards at Target using my Target Circle Card to earn 5% off. The gift cards can then be used to pay for park tickets and hotel accommodations or cover the cost of shopping and dining once you arrive! Select warehouse clubs also offer promotional prices on gift cards from time to time, so be sure to check for current deals if you’re a member of one. Keep an eye on the
Offers & Discounts page for the latest information on all of the resort’s available promotions.
I deeply appreciate your husband’s service to our nation, Gigi! I hope you’re able to plan a pixie-dusted vacation soon. Please
write back if you have more questions.
Wishing you magic,
Courtney
